Welcome to my galleries, I’m Ed Hughes.
Born and raised in California I’ve had the great fortune of growing up with some of the best scenery anywhere in the world. I have often wondered if it is possible to actually capture the feelings of my travels in my photographs, not just the scene but also the emotion I was feeling at the time. It’s not always an easy task but it is my goal with my work.
As you might have noticed by looking through my galleries, my passions are for nature and wildlife photography. I get no greater enjoyment than to get out in the open and do a little exploring and see what there is to see, and then sharing what I have seen with others through my photographs. I can’t imagine doing anything else that would provide me the same satisfaction.
